For Week 2 of the Big Game, aspiring poker pro William Davis was selected to take on the best of the best at their own game. With just 10s-4s, he got himself involved in a pot against the Negreanu’s Q-Q and Williams’ KK. Luckily for him, the Ks-Js-3s flop hit him right on the nose and put him firmly in the driving seat. It looked like Davis might finally get the chance to bust Negreanu, who called his all-in bet along with Williams. It wasn’t to be, as the turn laid another spade, giving Daniel the third-nut flush with his Queen of spades. William Davis had very little hope left and could all but kiss goodbye to his $100,000. That left Daniel reaping the profits, with both William Davis and David Williams leaving the table empty handed. In the final reckoning, Daniel had made a profit of over $134,000. The next closest were Doyle Brunson, who was up around $80,000 and Abe Mosseri who accrued an extra $40,100. Jason Calacanis finished down $65,200 and the two remaining players donated their full $100k to the table.
